How Does Emu Oil Work?
A large number of steps within our body's chemistry involve fatty acids. No drug offers a wide scope of activity seen with Emu Oil. Our body's need for fats can be grouped into structural and functional needs.
Structural Need
All our cell walls are made of fat. When fats are missing from our diets our body makes fat from the protein and carbohydrates that we eat. Unfortunately, it cannot make some types of fats that are required by the cell wall. Therefore, all cell wall structures are defective when some necessary essential fats, such as found in Emu Oil, are missing from our diets. A dry, itchy skin (i.e. a defective skin) is a sign of missing essential fatty acids.
Functional Needs
Fats play many different roles in our body. All cells produce hormones directly from the fatty acids which we must receive from our diet or from topical application of these fatty acids. These hormones influence all aspects of local cell activity, such as inflammation, healing, cell growth and dying. We offer FREE track and trace delivery within New Zealand on all orders over $79.
For orders under $79, we only charge $5.90 for courier delivery to anywhere in NZ. This includes RD addresses and PO Boxes.
Delivery time usually takes 1-2 working days. - Please allow an extra day for rural deliveries. Our estimate for these is 2-3 working days.
